uMhlanga Lagoon Nature Reserve

Go for a leisured hour-and-a-half walk at the uMhlanga Lagoon Nature Reserve. The trail is on a well-marked path where you can wonder through the coastal forest on boardwalks that cross the Ohlange River. Ohlange Institute

Founded by John Langalibalele Dube in 1900. John Dube fundraised in the United States for the school he intended to start in Natal. First known as Zulu Christian Industrial School, later known as Ohlange Institute, opened on 26 July 1901, the first black controlled institution of its kind in South Africa.
